Welcome to my website!
I'm a post doctoral research associate at the School of Geographical Sciences, in the University of Bristol. My research focuses on the biogeochemistry of the coldest areas of our planet. Specifically I'm looking at the impact that melting ice sheets may be having on downstream and marine ecosystems.
My bachelor/masters degree was in Physical Geography and my PhD in Biogeochemistry. I have interests in a wide range of disciplines, including microbiology, analytical chemistry, and biogeochemical cycles. I enjoy working in some of the most inhospitable, challenging and dramatic environments - pretty much all my data stems from samples collected in the field.
If you want to get in touch, feel free to Tweet, send an email, or, if you're particularly nostalgic, a letter.
